VSKI · SCIENCE

Wellcome to the vski·science handbook!

This handbook introduces high-level concepts and methotologies we use for developing data-driven applications and deliver them to production.

This handbook scratches the surface of software engineering, ML, ML Operations, and more. Every topic is an iceberg on its own, and this materials only give you a structured overview that can help you to get started.

About this Handbook

This handbook was originally started as a series of posts intended to teach software engineers common patterns and fundamental concepts we use to develop data driven applications.

Eventually the scope of this endevour has grown to covering range of topics beyond software engineering and data science, and I decided to turn it into a handbook that can be used as a reference for anyone interested in data-driven applications.

Work in Progress. Always!

Why publish something that is not finished and full of typos?
— Well, probably because some things are never to be finished. It doesn't mean that it cannot be useful! I focus on the practical applications, so a draft still can be used to get started.

And after all, I am not a full-time writer and do not intend to be one, so this handbook will always be a work in progress.

Author

Over the years, working in the industry on various roles, I have been involved in many projects. Most of my career I've been on the engineering side, but data science has always been my passion. So I combined my passion and experience into a profession — I help businesses to implement automation and data-driven processes, getting valuable insights into data, and transform decidion making processes.
